Club Bylaws

The club has developed a set of bylaws that guide the day-to-day operations and decision-making process of the Directors. The bylaws are reviewed periodically, and any proposed changes are voted on by the membership at the next club meeting before being added or removed from the document.

Budget

The club creates a yearly operating budget that is voted upon by the membership at the Dec AGM. This budget is used to forecast expected income and expenses by category or type.

5 Year Operating Plan

The club creates a five-year operating plan that identifies projects the club expects to start within the next five years. Items identified in the five-year operating plan include the development of proposed new trails, maintenance of specific trails and the purchase of new or upgrading equipment and infrastructure. The 5 Year operating plan also enables the club to respond to unexpected Government funding opportunities by having “ready to go” projects.
