How is my trail pass money divided up

Where does my permit money go?
Non-groomed Trail Permit $75.00 tax included:

  • $6 Service fee
    • If bought at SNB; They keep it to cover their costs
    • If bought direct from club or a partnered retailer; the club keeps the $6 to use on the trails
  • $13.00 Federation dues (Insurance, land leases, administration etc.)
  • $44.75 To the club for trail development, maintenance, shelters, events…
  • $11.25 HST

Groomed Trail Permit $145.00 tax included:

  • $6 Service fee
    • If bought at SNB; They keep it to cover their costs
    • If bought direct from club or a partnered retailer; the club keeps the $6 to use on the trails
  • $13.00 Federation dues (Insurance, land leases, administration etc.)
  • $49.00 To the club for trail development, maintenance, shelters, events
  • $55.25 To cover grooming costs
  • $21.75 HST

 

Where does my $41 registration fee go?
$16 goes to the government for Off Highway Vehicle enforcement, administration, etc. $25 goes into a Trust Fund which the NBATVF (Quad NB) uses for staff salaries, legal costs, advertising and promotions, office expenses, safety programs, etc. The remaining funds are disbursed to the clubs using a formula based on the number of clubs, membership, and km of managed trail.
