Oromocto Walking Trail Bridge Closure
Please be advised that the Oromocto Trail Bridge on the Former Railway Line will be closed effective Monday June 3. The trail will be closed from the west side of the Route 102 overpass tunnel to Route 655. See yellow arrows on the map below. Redem Construction will need to enter the site from the east side, indicated by the red arrow, and from Route 655 on the west side of the trail.
Work being done on the bridge includes abutment repair, a completely new deck system, new railings and trail regrading to meet the new deck height.
The club has applied for a HUP for the Lincoln Rd and part of the 655 but are still waiting on approval.
Please be patience as these important bridge repairs are taking place.
